  7. God-Load is a loading system for the  Atari Falcon 030 that allows you
  8. to make use of all available memory.  Some  demos want to grab as many
  9. bytes as they can,  and  God-Load  provides  a  quick  and easy way of
  10. loading these demos  without  messing  around  with configurations and
  11. resolutions.
  12.  
  13. Simply copy God-Load into the  auto  folder  of  drive C. Ideally, you
  14. should re-arrange your auto folder so  God-Load  is  as high up in the
  15. loading chain as  possible.  It  should  be  situated  after essential
  16. programs such as hard  drive  patches,  but  before  things like mouse
  17. accelerators.

  19. Now install GODLOAD.PRG as a  desktop  icon with the default directory
  20. being the top window. Now to run  a demo, open a window which contains
  21. the demo's directory and drag the executable file onto God-Load.

  23. God-Load will set-up memory and then reset.  When it is next loaded it
  24. will load the  demo  from  the  auto  folder  -  before  GEM  has been
  25. installed thus you have a  greater  amount  of free memory. Using this
  26. technique, many games and demos  that  didn't previously work will run
  27. on your machine.

  29. God-Load was coded  after  receiving  "Realm   of  Depth" by Hydroxide
  30. which wanted 3.9Mb to run else  you  would  be  presented  with a disk
  31. error screen containing a non   too  polite  message.  Using God-Load,
  32. memory hungry demos can be loaded with little hassle.

  36. God-Load assumes it is being run from  the  auto folder of drive C, so
  37. if either the folder or drive don't exist, it won't work.
